I just read my friend Dave’s blog post over on deargravity about his 2009 experiences and I thought I should do something similar. It was  a very weird year that’s for sure, but all in all for me it wasn’t all that bad. The biggest events of my year were breaking up to finding myself, buying a car to falling in love again, and many more things of that nature. I’ll break this down into seasons and highlight key events to make this a little more of a speedy read. (more…)

This is just a quick post about snow. Snow is falling in my area right now as I type this. No problem for me, I’ll drive my Civic home tonight no sweat. This isn’t how everyone else feels. Opinion: Lables Only Care for Popular Music December 14, 2009 at 2:05 am

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone “caught” for downloading music are only downloading popular music. I mean stuff like Akon, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Insert Boy Band Here, etc etc etc; your basic sounds exactly the same as the next one music. Is this because lables only target people who download today’s “hit” music, or is there something more in depth I’m missing?

Private Bittorrent Tracker Demonoid Back Online December 13, 2009 at 10:30 pm

After a very extensive downtime, the private Bittorrent tracker Demonoid is back online. With an announcment on the homepage, Demonoid states they should be online unless unforseen problems arise. With the tracker back online post Mininova and PirateBay, who knows how much traffic they’ll gain.

AT&T Wants To Charge More for Data Usage December 12, 2009 at 2:38 am

If you’re like me, you use your phone for everything. By everything I mean check your email, Twitter, Facebook, blog, and surf the web all across your carrier’s network. No problem there unless you’re on AT&T. A figure head at the Dallas, Texas company recently stated that he thinks AT&T should charge more for those who “abuse” data usage. Maybe this is fair, oh wait, it isn’t!

Recognizing and Understanding the Smartphone Market War December 9, 2009 at 5:12 pm

What seems to be the beginning of a smartphone war has actually been going on for quite sometime now. The reasons why everyone is taking sides for their team are being pushed on the consuming public via the web, TV commercials, and newspaper ads. The two sides are iPhone versus Android, or is it just two sides? Let’s delve into the market just a tad deeper, say about 20 years back.
