Lockerz – The BEST Site on the Web (Next to CFultz.com) April 21, 2010 at 1:10 am

Lockerz, this has recently become my favorite website on the web! Lockerz is a site that lets it’s users accumulate points to trade in for cool things like PS3′s, Xbox360′s, Wii’s, iPod Touch’s, and even the NEW iPad! You can gain points just by signing in and answering a simple daily question. Of course, the way to accumulate more points though is playing games, videos, and listening to music! Most videos give you 4 PTZ so it makes things a little faster. The downside is it’s invite only, but luckily for you I have invites and I’m willing to share! Visit our Lockerz page and input your name and email and soon you too will have a Lockerz invite!

iPhone OS 4 Gaming Center Coming April 8, 2010 at 4:30 pm

Openfeint is one of the iPhone world’s social gaming engines much like Xbox Live is to the 360. It shares achievements, adds friends, and gives you an incentive to keep playing games and buying more titles. Soon though, this service could fall under the colossal cloud of the new Apple Gaming Center.

The Ultimate Alphabet Game (Beta) – Review April 1, 2010 at 11:51 pm

The Ultimate Alphabet Game is an upcoming app from ToyTek Ltd. and it’s going to blow your mind! It’s a game that requires you to find everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) that starts with a certain letter. In this build, there are letters A-D and each one has over 256 things to name! It’s insane! The vocabulary is really hard at times and it does have a little problem with the buttons at times. The target audience for this app is definitely 18 and up not because of the content but because of the words. Most people won’t be able to figure out some of the words without hints but if you don’t mind doing that, then this game is a definite buy when it comes out! Check out their website, or their twitter @toytekltd for more info on when this app comes out!

This is a test post to see if the Geotagging feature for WordPress app works on a selfhosted blog! Probably not yet but if it did, this should be tagged.

The Acacia Strain – The Most Known Unknown Review February 26, 2010 at 12:35 am

The Acacia Strain is an American deathcore band from Chicopee, Massachusetts, even though they have stated that they do not belong to any set “genre”. They recently released a live DVD entitled “The Most Known Unknown” which is a live performance in Worcester, Massachusetts and it was one brutal show. The line up couldn’t have been chosen any better and the boys of TAS performed like always, simply brutal! Vincent (lead singer) talked to the audience about his hatred towards the human race and how we are all screwed up  and deserve to die. The audience’s response to this was screams of acceptance and acknowledgement, followed by countless circle pits, moshing, and at the finale a wall of death. Of all the songs performed, JFC had to be the most brutal in my opinion. The DVD is a two disc set featuring the full line up in Worcester, MA, a smaller set at The Waterfront, and includes a few extras including music videos from their popular hits. All I can say is… PICK THIS UP NOW IF YOU LOVE BRUTAL DEATHCORE/METAL/HARDCORE!!!

Starting to write an Android application, I found out just how versed in Java I really was… very minimal. Still I think I can acomplish this challenge that I’ve made for myself. I still don’t know what kind of app I’d like to develope, maybe a Twitter client or something similiar to that. I am also purchasing a Nexus One once my taxes come back so I’ll have my iPhone and my Android! Cannot wait!

Here’s to you, 2009 January 2, 2010 at 12:36 am

I just read my friend Dave’s blog post over on deargravity about his 2009 experiences and I thought I should do something similar. It was  a very weird year that’s for sure, but all in all for me it wasn’t all that bad. The biggest events of my year were breaking up to finding myself, buying a car to falling in love again, and many more things of that nature. I’ll break this down into seasons and highlight key events to make this a little more of a speedy read. (more…)
