FacetheMusic, an app by my good friend Shabbir Vijapura (@shabzcohelp) over at TouchMiPhone, allows users to post what they’re listening to on their iPod, iPhone, and iPad right to Twitter and or Facebook directly from their device. With some new features added to this release, FacetheMusic has gotten better than ever!

Starting to write an Android application, I found out just how versed in Java I really was… very minimal. Still I think I can acomplish this challenge that I’ve made for myself. I still don’t know what kind of app I’d like to develope, maybe a Twitter client or something similiar to that. I am also purchasing a Nexus One once my taxes come back so I’ll have my iPhone and my Android! Cannot wait!

If you’re like me, you use your phone for everything. By everything I mean check your email, Twitter, Facebook, blog, and surf the web all across your carrier’s network. No problem there unless you’re on AT&T. A figure head at the Dallas, Texas company recently stated that he thinks AT&T should charge more for those who “abuse” data usage. Maybe this is fair, oh wait, it isn’t!

What seems to be the beginning of a smartphone war has actually been going on for quite sometime now. The reasons why everyone is taking sides for their team are being pushed on the consuming public via the web, TV commercials, and newspaper ads. With a name like Gowalla, this app gives many second thoughts about downloading it. You won’t be sorry you did. Gowalla by Alamofire is a social networking app that allows users to connect with local people and friends by a system of checking in, much like Loopt and Foursquare. (more…)
